Las Vegas, NV—Research firm YPulse surveyed 1,000 millennials between 13 and 33 “to get their spending predictions, their gifting budgets, holiday wish lists, Black Friday and Cyber Monday plans.”

Major Findings

The major stats the survey uncovered: Nearly two-thirds of millennials had a holiday shopping budget on average of $352. Mom is the number one person millennials shopped for. Their siblings and dad are second and third.

The majority, 77%, said they planned to shop on at least one of the big consumption days. These include Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

According to YPulse: “Millennials plan on spending more than $27 billion on themselves and others during Black Friday, and more than $22 billion on themselves and others on Cyber Monday,” with tech figuring into the mix. ypulse.com
