Melville, NY—Canon USA revealed new executive appointments and promotions; they were all effective April 1, 2021. The new appointments represent “Canon’s commitment to elevating its leaders and placing them in positions to succeed as well as further solidifying Canon’s position as a leader in digital imaging solutions,” the company announced.

In all, Canon USA, Inc., revealed six executive appointments effective April 1, 2021, across various divisions of the company.

Shinya Fukuda was promoted to vice president and general manager, Corporate Planning.

Canon also promoted Yukinari Kaneta to vice president and general manager, Corporate IT.

In addition, Isao Kobayashi was named vice president and general manager, the Imaging Technologies and Communications Group.

Amy Newman was also promoted to vice president and general manager, General Affairs and Procurement.

Furthermore, Marie Abbondondolo was appointed as vice president, Audit, Credit and Risk.

Finally, Brian Mahar was promoted to vice president, the Imaging Technologies and Communications Group.
