Verona, NJ—Following a successful Indiegogo campaign, Sirui is now shipping two new full-frame macro cinema lenses. Furthermore, the Sirui Jupiter 75mm T2.8 (1:1 macro) and 100mm T2.8 (1.5:1) complete Sirui’s Jupiter full-frame cine macro six-lens series. The series also includes three other prime lenses as well as the Jupiter 28–85mm T3.2 cine zoom lens with a 3x ratio zoom and a parfocal design.

Sirui’s existing macro lens set includes three prime focal lengths: a 24mm T2, a 35mm T2 as well as a 50mm T2. Now, the two new lenses, the 75mm T2.8 and 100mm T2.8 complete the series. The series is aimed at professional filmmakers as well as emerging content creators.

“Standard wide-angle lenses with long focal lengths help enrich creation in your productions. This budget friendly macro cine lens set with identical gear position, 95mm front diameter and same characteristic may be your first choice,” Sirui announced.

All the lenses feature the same characteristics and matched color tones. Additionally, Sirui Jupiter lenses come in both EF- and PL-mount versions. Thus, they are compatible with many professional mirrorless cameras. An E/RF adapter is also offered for use on a wider range of mirrorless cameras.

Moreover, at an 11.4-inch minimum focus distance, the 75mm lens features 1x magnification. Further, the 100mm lens features 1.5x magnification, which allows you to capture close-ups with more details. Additionally, with the compression of a long focal length, the background is blurred and the subject is focused. Consequently, the two lenses are options for close-ups of insects, flowers, precision electronic products, and action.

In addition, Sirui applies a high-quality coating on the lenses to reduce stray light and produce images with sharpness and color accuracy. Distortion and aberrations are also controlled. Specs state the images captured with the Jupiter lenses are at the “vintage level, featuring isolating subject and pleasing bokeh.”

Furthermore, the lenses in the series are all the similar size and weight, with identical gear positions and a 95mm front diameter. They are compatible with the same accessories and allow quick lens swapping. Both new lenses also feature a 200º rotation angle of the focus ring.
