Portland, OR—Photo-editing software provider ON1 introduced the first update to ON1 Photo RAW 2024. The new ON1 Photo RAW 2024.1 update adds color wheels to enhance the color balance filter. It also provides increased flexibility to the properties inspector. Consequently, you can now roll it up or nest it with other controls to save screen space.

The first big update to ON1 Photo RAW, version 2024.1 introduces several enhancements as well as new features. Keyword AI was also updated to detect regions alongside objects to enhance photo organization with region-based and related keywords. Moreover, the new Search Bar improves photo searches. Therefore, it makes common searches easier by exposing faces, types and edits. Enhanced cataloging also offers tailored control over folders.
Rounding out the improvements are text features that present each text block as a separate layer. This provides creative options for masking, blending as well as applying effects filters. And the auto-embedding of metadata for JPG files and the ability to paste pixels from external apps as new layers offer integration possibilities. Finally, the Develop module now welcomes Adobe DCP format camera profiles.
