Los Angeles, CA—The Lucie Foundation launched a new open call for the Portrait Project Take Two. This open call will culminate in 50 photographers that the organization will display in an online exhibition. It also offers a variety of prizes.
Portrait Project Take Two
There are five categories for the Portrait Project Take Two. They are Self/Portrait; Together as One (relationships with friends, family, groups of people or singles); Candid; Black & White; and Alternative/Abstract.
The Lucie Foundation will award one grand prize winner. This winner will be the photograph with the highest score overall in any category. The organization will feature the grand prize winner on the Lucie Foundation website and as part of the Lucie Foundation Online Exhibition for competition.
In addition, the winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize plus a 16×20-inch print of the award-winning image from Paper and Ink Studio. Lastly, the grand prize winner will select one Lucie Honoree poster.
Category Winner Prizes
Furthermore, the Lucie Foundation will name five category winners based on the highest score in the remaining categories. Those categories will depend on the grand prize winner.
The five category winners also will participate in the Lucie Foundation Online Exhibition for competition. In addition, they will garner a cash prize of $250; a 16×20-inch print of the award-winning image from Paper and Ink Studio (printed and shipped worldwide); and the pick of one Lucie Honoree poster (unsigned edition).
The deadline for the open call is March 31, 2023. The cutoff time is 12 midnight ET.
