White Plains, NY—The MeFoto, MeVideo and Induro brands, manufactured at Benro’s facility, have now merged their product design and innovation resources. As a result, Benro will make them available as “Super” collections under its own brand.
Marketed to traveling photographers, content creators as well as livestreamers, the move consolidates the MeFoto, MeVideo, Induro and Benro design and innovation teams. They will now share best practices and resources within Benro’s manufacturing facilities.
“We realize that space in a creator’s gear bag is very valuable. We intend to have our gear earn its rightful place and always be within reaching distance for every type of creative challenge or opportunity,” commented Andy Liu, son of Benro founder Hao “Leo” Liu
Since 1996, Benro has provided support to a global community of creators in the photography and filmmaking spaces. It also caters to the ever-expanding universe of content creators who need support systems to tell their diverse stories.
Growth Opportunity
Subsequently, the move represents a growth opportunity as creators look to add tools that enable them to maximize what’s possible. In an age of 24/7 image storytelling and sharing, creators can pick up a device at any hour; with the right accessories, they can capture content. 
The company believes creators will need not just traditional support accessories like tripods and heads but also lights and modifiers and flexible connection devices to hold peripherals like audio recording gear and additional smart devices or wireless transmitters. Benro plans to have all these tools coming very shortly, with the goal of providing a complete content creation ecosystem.
