San Diego, CA—Lume Cube, a provider of portable lighting for creators and communicators, launched the Lume Cube Panel Pro. The Panel Pro is a slim, portable RGB light that is the most advanced addition to the company’s panel line.

“We saw a huge opportunity to expand the panel collection; we wanted to create something that was truly a game changer in the content creation space while still being compact and user friendly,” said Lume Cube president and cofounder, Riley Stricklin.

For photographers and videographers, the Panel Pro joins Lume Cube’s Panel Mini and Panel GO as the third addition to the collection. The lightweight Panel Pro is a professional-grade bicolor RGB light. Moreover, it offers 360 different color options and built-in lighting effects. It is also the largest and only Bluetooth-compatible product in the panel line.

The Panel Pro 2.0 features a large, redesigned panel screen with easier-to-read settings and controls. It also has a 1/4-20 tripod mount on three sides. In addition, a frosted lens uses a detachable diffuser for softer lighting adjustments.

What’s more, it provides a color temperature range from 3,500 to 5,000 Kelvin (K) and a color-rendering index (CRI) greater than 96 on a scale of 1–100. Other features include dimmability from 0 to 100%; 263 high-performance LED lights; and a lithium ion battery with USB Type-C charging capabilities.

Furthermore, with the introduction of the Panel Pro comes an update to the interactive Lume Cube app. With the app upgrade, available now, users can connect any Bluetooth-compatible Lume Cube device they’d like; rename the devices; as well as group lights to their preferences.

They can also enjoy over-the-air firmware and software updates; see the battery life on each connected Lume Cube device; control color and functions; as well as take advantage of in-app tutorials and shopping. LumeCube-logo-2020
